Full Version: Elvis International Airport, Memphis Petition

A petition has been started to rename the Memphis International Airport to the ELVIS PRESLEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT in this 35th Anniversary year. If the ex Liverpool Airport, England, can do it with the name of John Lennon, Memphis should have no qualms about naming its airport after its most famous (and still profit-making for them) son. It should have been done years ago. Obviously its we the fans who will have to push for this. Please go to www.change.org and put your name on the petition as soon as possible.

Done and done.

Just annoyed that I had to put my address their and am slightly annoyed that I had to put my email address as well (the home address I put down was a fake and the email address is one that I started because of spam I started getting from having to sign my email address on so many places)

In my opinion it is outrageous that a petition -- decades after Elvis died -- needs to be launched to name the Memphis airport after him.

This is something that should have been done MAXIMUM within the first five years of his passing!

C'mon, Memphis: do what is right and name that airport after Elvis Presley now!
