That one in mint condition was valued at $150-$200 in Presleyana IV price guide (which is getting old by now). That's one I would love to have in my collection!

I believe that must be the 1997 release by DDC Compact Classics. If so, the cardboard is a little thinner than the original and it has two gold stickers on the shrink wrap - one on the front that says "180+ Pure Virgin Vinyl..." and a "Limited Edition" on the back with a stamped number. Although the no. on the front is the old LSP-2231, it says LPZ-2037 on the back. A beautiful reissue!

Are you sure this is the original??? In that case bolt your doors and raise your insurance!!! It's been called the most rare Elvis album and a mint copy would be worth a fortune! However, perfect copies were pressed in the 80's of this and other rare 10" LP's.

Hey! I have the Janis and Elvis Mint reissue! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/clap.gif) And never been played. I bought it brand new back in the early eighties. I never know and still don't know how much it's worth. What's the difference between the original and the reissue? (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

(IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Wow! You must be glad that there's no law against being so lucky! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) What a find Sheila! Those five sleeves are so hard/expensive to get - and even harder in that condition! I truly envy you... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Take good care of them (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

I got a friend who has all of Elvis 70's albums on LP but get this. All the songs are one one side. They are all in mint condition and has just a white cover. These are for the Radio DJs so they don't have to flip the record over. He has been finding record covers for these he is about half through with the covers now. He is just covers that says Promotional or Radio DJ copy on the back cover. I never seen anything like these. He got them from his grandfather who used to own a radio station. But he also has a few other rare LPs. He has a red vinyl of Moody Blue. I looked in my Elvis Price Guide that I got a few years ago and it listed this in there. It was made the same time as the blue and black vinyls. They made all kinds of colors for this album but only a few (a very few was put out on the market). The rarest one for the Moody Blue is the multi color one and it is value in the thousands. The red vinyl is value at about 700 dollars in mint condition which my friend's copy is. The ones which all the songs are on one side. My price guide doesn't list them. He doesn't know or do I how much they are worth. I told it has to be pass a hundred dollars. What do you think they could be worth?

Is this you Connie?

Send me an pm please, much have mappened since we last talked.

Thouse lp`s sounds like "gold" to me

But are there really much value in thouse lp`s anymore?

I know we had a big crack in prices on bootleg lp`s, hell... i have payed 100`s of dollars just for one bootleg lp, and today they dont sell for more than 10-20 dollars on ebay.

I traded away most of my lp collection many years ago, i traded them with cdr`s of bootlegs, wold you belive that

Anyway i still got a few of them left, but want sell them for nothing.

Sounds good, but if the Janis is mint, I doubt if it's real (no disrespect, but do you know how to tell?).

Been dealing in vinyl for many, many years & have never seen a mint copy of this 10".
We have a couple at the moment & the best is a strong ex.

But as we all know, what someone may call something mint, another may call it vg+
