November '71 gets my vote (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

you can't go wrong with any of these tours though, all produced their share of great performances (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

November '71 gets my vote too. It's 100% high quality and the most consistent of the above.

July '75 was great too, but only from the 19th till the 24th it was totally excellent. December '76 is also very good, but can't be compared tot the '71 - '75 period in my opinion.

I dont think Elvis started to tour 1970 until september, but i always vote on 1970 when it comes to live stuff, a year unmatched as a concert year by anything else Elvis did from 1968 to 1977.
Stating anything else would be like living in denial. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif)

I guess August 1970 and August 1973 aren't tours but Las Vegas engagements (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif)

but still, the both were great engagements for Elvis and produced high intensity level shows so I think these two great engagements should be included with the others (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)

It could be that september 1970 was the tour with "the most wild" Elvis, the shows where very good to, but.......... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif) ............. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/black_eye.gif) ...........Einar.............. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/angel.gif)

Overall, The best Elvis Presley shows was in Vegas august/September 1973.
That was the period with the biggest change in the songs,
Elvis took his Vegas show on the road, and the Vegas shows was first class all the way (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)

I think he fooled around to much on thouse 1970 tours (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif)

That might be so Kenny, but by 1973 the stage shows where not half as wild, and the 50's songs where performed without any passion at all.

Alltough Elvis was inventive in '73 th concerts faild to hold a long term standard, while a midnight show would be awesome, the dinner show the next day, could be not that rate with Elvis unintressted.
Also i think Elvis has some slight problems with his voice lasting trough the whole year.

While in 1970 he never had a bad show, atleast from what i've heard, but i do agree that Elvis during february 1970 perhaps where fooling arounf too much, but in August it was not done too much.

But it's all opinion and taste i guess. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (alltoug i still think you are crazy if you prefer '73 concerts over the ones from August '70 (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif)

Nothing beat the shows Elvis did in Vegas august/september 1970, he was the king of the world right there, i just think all worked out better in the summer of 73, i like the soungs he did better, i like Elvis better, he was so much more cool.

I know he started to have real trouble at that time, he took his first overdose in june, but he was and will always be my no 1 at that time

Looks like August 1970 has the lead right now, followed closley by December '76.

Hard to tell though wich is most popular with only 13 votes (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif) ... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It seems that all the polls have disappeared, but I assume that
one of the options for this poll was the September 1970 tour. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

And that's my choise. During that tour Elvis was dynamite.
