Hi Gayle! Sorry if I said left click and choose "save target" I should have said right click and choose save target. Yep, this is the only way I know of sharing this with everyone. Dial up will take a long time I imagine to download this file. Glad you liked the video clip Jules, I must admit, I am too hard on Lisa Marie, I like the songs I have heard sing so far. I got her first album also and Lights Out and Nobody Noticed It are my two favorite songs on that album. I haven't had the chance to get her newest album though. I think the reason why I dog on Lisa so much is I'm just frustrated at how she is running EPE, but now I don't even think she has anything to do with EPE since Mr. Sillerman (sp?) came along (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I love this video...but I do agree about the running of EPE!!! So
sad to see it all going so commerical and the cheap trinkets being
made and sold in EP's name!!! I hope in the end...it does attract
younger fans!! JMHO... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif)

I always remember when I first saw the duet of Don't Cry Daddy.
I was at an Elvis week in the UK.They had a big screen in the hall
where we were. The hall was packed, must have been near to a thousand
fans in there. On the screen they were showing all sorts of clips of Elvis,
then the duet came on and everyone stopped what they were doing
and looked at the screen,it went silent..you could have heard a pin drop.

This was when not alot of fans had seen it.I think it was the year 2000.

QUOTE (The Batman @ May 19 2006, 07:10 PM)
mmm just watched this clip Matt and thanks for putting it up BTW seems like another way for LMP to make some money, her singin should be considered just about tolerable for a karaoke at the most and those words are attrocious, saying she loves hims and all that babble well if she truly did she should get off her fat lazy money wasting behind and show the fans that she loves him and stop making these no money earning CD's that she seems so proud of
*

I believe this was a tribute to her Daddy and was meant soley for that purpose this was recorded by someone in the audience...illegally I would bet. I watch it over and over again and speaking for myself I think it has so much feeling because it is a Father and His Daughter, who of us that have lost our Daddy's wouldn't love to pay such a tribute...and our Dad's arent famous like hers.
She sang this from her heart. She was her Daddy's girl, No One can take that away from her. And certainly not her love for him...no matter how anyone else perceives this Tribute...Elvis would have loved singing with his Baby Girl. I think it was beautiful and tastefully done. Now maybe they will borrow from the American Idol show and really make a Production of it.

And if you will remember Lisa Lived this song (minus the little brother) When her Mom and Dad split up...divorce is a deep hurt for a child that they never get over.
We would all do well to think about the positive side of these tributes instead of the negative. Without them bringing Elvis back to life to a new generation, it would soon just be us old farts listening to his music.

This was recorded in the audience. It sounds good but anyone who can't sing could sound good with a little help of a recording studio. I use not believe that but after seeing Lisa Marie sing live on t.v. I was convinced otherwise, lol

(IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Big kiss from me Gary! And a hug too. You are precious! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/angel.gif)

Can you just imagine though if Lisa could have done this for real? And you know Elvis would have been thrilled to have his Baby girl sing with him. I can see it now him grinning ear to ear and hugging her up close to him, the pride in his eyes and his heart swelling so big in his chest he feels it is going to burst. And Lisa looking at her Daddy with the adoring little girl smile she always had for him. Face just beaming. It would have been a moment frozen in time. Never to be matched again.
