Las Vegas, February 15th 1973 Dinner Show Sound: Audiance recording 01 Opening ouverture 02 See See Rider 03 I Got A Woman / Amen 04 Love Me Tender 05 You Don't Have To Say You Love Me 06 Steamroller Blues 07 You Gave Me A Mountain 08 Fever 09 Walk That Lonesome Road (by The Stamps Quartet) 10 Sweet Sweet Spirit (by The Stamps Quartet) 11 When It's My Time (by The Stamps Quartet) 12 How Great Thou Art (by The Stamps Quartet) 13 Crucified (by The Stamps Quartet) 14 Can't Help Falling In Love 15 Faded Love 16 I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry 17 Polk Salad Annie 18 American Trilogy 19 Can't Help Falling In love 20 Final Announcement This is quite a unique show. Elvis leaves the stage in the middle of the performance because of a throat infection. He hardly has a voice left. After he returns he sings the closing song but changes his mind and performs another 4 songs (among them one of the two known versions of Polk Salad Annie in '73) before he finaly closes again with Can't Help Falling In Love. One has to have great respect for the man here. Even under these circumstances he tried his best to give people their money worth. I'm so lonesome I could cry has a different order of the verses comparing the jan. 1973 versions and was sung only on 26 jan. 1973 opening show and this show

I'm listening to this concert right now.Elvis sounds pretty good considering

from this Las Vegas season several concerts were cancelled due to illness:

When it's my time - I should have been crusified were recorded by the Stamps Qt for their 1972 release: LP Something special on Heartwarming records. The song The lighthouse (from On Tour) can be find on this LP too.
