I told you so.
England will be on the way home tomorrow.
England was robbed of a goal by Lampard.
Our team had rude awakening as Germany showed England how to play football.
Germany's first goal should not have been allowed as their player was shoving or tugging the England player.
Poor old Rooney never had good chances to score a goal in the games England has played.

One of the worst decisions for years....Lampards "Goal". Ridiculous. Had that been allowed....well...it could have been different. But in truth, Germany were excellent. They deserved to win the game....fair play to them. The better side won...

Rooney never had the chance to do anything. The team as a whole didn't perform. As a striker, if you don't get the chances...you don't score. He was no worse than anyone else in the England side. They still claim David James was Englands best player. Don't make me laugh....he wasn't exactly at fault for Germany's goals...but he didn't excel either. In my opinion..a "decent" keeper may well have saved at least one of their goals. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Germany beat England... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
I didn't like to see the goal of the Germany.
England was my favorite soccer team in this game.
When I watched the game I always remembered a lot of you all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Brazil and Chile will play today. I'm very nervous again.

Great result for your home team Melanie (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

The England game would have been totally different if Lampards goal had stood, then we would have not been so far up attacking and getting caught out with the long ball.It would also have boosted our morale and ruined Germanys.Could have been a win but for some dodgy reffing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/oops.gif)

Tell about rub their nose in it.
The England team were taken home in German made cars.
What an insult cheek!!!!
Why blame the manager when it's the player's job to play football?
Our team never played as whole team.
Rooney is the only English forward who never scored in a World Cup.
Most forwards' have scored goals.
England can't win a game of football in the World Cup.
So what was wrong with the team?

ummmm,,,,,,,(IMG:http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e160/selenauno/th_popcorn.gif) im no footy expert..just my opinion is nothing is wrong with the england team.....its very difficult to win a world cup...i believe some of the key players on the team like rooney etc you know the stars of the team..... ..had no gas left in the tank..no fuel left..as they played so many games in the season pre season matches cup games,,blah blah..champions league matches etc... they had nothing left to offer at the world cup they just diddint show up and play good footy like there capable of......... .. ,,and you had a lousy goal keeper ..i dont think that 2nd goal with germany that was dissalowed would of changed the outcome...germany gave england a footy lesson they will never forget...the germans were superior by far and deserved to win.........accept the loss lets not find excuses for the english side.......rebuild and toss capello outtie... Anyone would think that England were even good enough to win the World Cup in the first place. They were not. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Don't blame any individual either. Sky have been pointing the blame firmly on Rooney. Its pathetic. They were all to blame. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Germany were good, but i have to agree. The disallowed goal had more of a bearing on the result than some think. It was the Germans day. But i am not sure that they will win the Cup. The South American sides have to be the favourites. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

A few national teams have failed to live up to their expectations at this world cup (look at Italy).

The biggest problem with the England team imo is ego and bank balance.I wonder right now how many of the England team are still in this country? or sat on a beach in Barbados or some other far flung paradise with their WAG's spending all that money they earn each week already forgetting about the world cup.By the time they come back it will nearly be time for the new season and most football fans will be forgetting the world cup and looking forward to their team playing in the premiership.

The latest debate is a winter break in the premiership but i think it will take an England manager with balls to leave all the ego's at home and pick 22 young hungry players who are more proud of wearing three lions on their chest than sitting on a beach counting money knowing the will still be football hero's to their fans come the new season.

Germany probably wont win this world cup but they have the youngest squad there and they are already looking like world beaters given a year or two.We could do with taking a leaf out of their book.

I agree with you ccrider... the manager has a lot to answer for...he played great premireship players out of position there not used to.. rooney is getting the blame which is not fair..its a team effort..get rid of capelo...
