MADE by EMENEE TOYS IN 1956 AND SOLD THRU SEARS AND ROEBUCK'S CATALOG. cost was $ 12 dollars. IT CAME IN A FOUR AND A SIX STRING. THE FOUR STRING BEING MORE RARE THEN THE SIX STRING. EMENEE MADE GUITARS FOR MANY CELEBRITIES OF ITS DAY LIKE ROY ROGERS , ZORRO , BONANZA , LONE RANGER.

Think i recall seeing one similar ( if not the same ) at a shop in New York when we were there last year. Needless to say...i could have spent a fortune...had i a fortune to spend that is (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Whats cool is everything is in it. Nothing missing. They later took out the chord player because they would break easy. They kept the same box , but they would put a piece of white tape over the graphics on the box.

Well a dealer who is also a long time collector that i have been friends with for many years. If you knew what i paid for it . you would just get flippie!

Spookily Joe I was reading the liner notes for Close Up last night while listening to CD3 in bed. I saw this picture and was looking at it cause I thought the guitar looked small and then realized it was a memorabilia item. I reckon you might get a kick out of seeing this picture (even if you've seen it before!)
