Possibly, one of the most under-rated Elvis albums ever !!

Love this album. Probably even more than Elvis is Back !!

A beautiful album filled with class recordings. So hard to pick just one. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

Eventually went for I'm Comin' Home....Love THAT guitar !!

"I'm Comin' Home" is GREAT, Chris.....Cool guitar & piano solos in that, but I went for "Put The Blame On Me". A bit of a different sounding song, but I love every second of it.....SWANKY IN THE 1ST DEGREE!!!!

"I'm Comin' Home" gets my vote too. Great song - love that piano solo. Probably the only Elvis LP to have a ballad and a rhythm side - I'd rather have had it mixed, but one of the great albums by all means... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

Sam Philips played the orig, version of I"M COMING HOME (my vote),to EP at GRACELANDs,by CARL MANN and wrote by CHARLIE RICH...EP liked it,took that 45 version to STUDIO B and asked HANK GARLAND to re-do the guitar bit.

After 7 take"s or so...the master was done...=MAGIC.

In one of his last interviews,C.RICH was asked about the EP version of his song...he was stunned,he never new EP had done one of his songs,he said he would go look for it...never did find out if he did,as he died a few weeks later.

No contest at all. There's Always Me. One of Elvis' finest ballads !!! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif) (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif) (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif)

Just Love this LP.....more so than any other early 60s album. Prefer this one to Elvis is Back. Wonderful (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif)

I understand it Chris...but to me "Elvis is back" will always be THE ultimate album, perfection in all it grades. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

What i do like about this al is that it's nicely devided in Ballad/Rythym sides.
It's a coherent album because of this;Elvis sounds breathtaking too.
His voice is so smoothly,he sings with such ease...

Maybe not his best of the 60's imo,but still a very VERY good album!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif)
