Some comments, notes and thoughts.......
This is an interesting program... Jerry Schilling was one of the Executive producers on it. (USA) It contains long interview segments with LOANNE PARKER. (The Colonels wife) Also Interviews with JOE ESPOSITO, SAM THOMPSON, PRISCILLA, JERRY SCHILLING, RONNIE TUTT, GEORGE KLIEN, LARRY GELLER, TOM JONES and others. Some of the Film clips and photos... are credited to ELVIS: VIVA LAS VEGAS, ELVIS VIVA, LLC productions (DVD release) and also LLC Productions ~ Home Movies "Elvis Anthology" LLC (which includes Fan Based ~ filmed footage..) Also used a lot of short clips from THATS THE WAY IT IS. some short clips from ELVIS ON TOUR, and slightly longer clips from ALOHA FROM HAWAII. Audio from Vegas (like the STRUNG OUT outburst... and the Hilton firing Mario.. etc.,) was placed over other Private Concert film. The film NBC did in September 1972 of fans (mostly from the GB Trip) and internal Hilton areas, casino etc., is used in places. Elvis' medication drug use, is mostly slanted as the Colonels fault, and a combination of different doctors in different cities. They went off-topic slightly near the end, with a piece about Tupelo and Elvis' twin. In the main it shows Elvis in a positive light.. but a person with many pressures and problems. It is an interesting presentation.. with a few mistakes... on dates... and often the film dates don't go with the comments being made. Archive clips and footage is credited .... I liked it a lot.
