Just listened to this concert all the way through for the first time in awhile. It is a wonderful concert. Elvis is very focused. Highlihjts for me are What Now My Love, You Gave Me A Mountain, Johhnny B replacing I Got A Woman, Fever is at the right tempo. Even the hits are done pretty well. My favorite hit is Hound Dog. Bosom of Abraham and Run On are a great bonus. One question I have is this a soundboard or audience? I can't tell lol

I can't tell lol Bama This is a soundboard Bama ... though there are better out there ... 2. Review by Mike Sanders This CD contains a soundboard recording of the dinner show at the Las Vegas Hilton on the 4th September 1972 and not the midnight show of the 15th August as stated on the cover. There are several reasons for querying the date of this show. Firstly, he greets the audience with "Good afternoon" and crucially, the British Elvis Presley fan club are present this evening, which pinpoints the actual date of the show. -------------------- |

Haven't listened to this one in a while. All August '72 concerts are very, very good.
I will give this one a spin later today -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

A terrific song line up. 1972 was still a very good year for Elvis with his shows featuring a lot of energy. His voice was really sounding good during the summer of 1972.

Well done.. -------------------- |

Picked this one out again, was almost forgotten how good it is!!
Very tight upbeat Vegasshow,as all his shows from 1972. Nice bonustracks too and a fantastic backcoverpic.. One to get your hands on!! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/notworthy2.gif) -------------------- |
