Usually we have a party at home on New Years Eve. This year we went out...and i didn't enjoy it quite as much as i normally do. Although it was an ok night. Funny that i was thinking earlier in the evening that i sure would miss Elvis letting in the new year on my Hi-Fi. As soon a the bells go...An American Trilogy is normally blasting out of my speakers..
It got to 5 to midnight...when i was suprised at the club we were in...when An American Trilogy started to play I could not beleive it...i was in heaven More interesting was the fact that it got the biggest damn cheer of all the music played all night....and a huge round of applause when it ended...with about a minute to go to the New Year. Very Cool Next year...i think we will be back at home New Years Eve...and Trilogy will have its usual play just after midnight...but it came close -------------------- |

I got to admit i never play Elvis at new years eve. Im always out this night, and seldom they play Elvis, and if they did im probably too drunk to remember. This year tough i took it easy, and was home right after the clock hit midnight, so i had time too play some music. i did just about the same. i played Elvis at sun maybe the 3rd time ever, and now i really like it. then about 10:30 i stated playing the new years eve concert, and when the new year came in, i cranked up 'auld lang syne' -------------------- i'm a grease monkey that won't slide so easily!

We had a party at home with my parents and some friends,
Just after midnight i played "How great Thou Art" from memphis 74..... Amazing moment.... and some time after that, "trilogy" played that loud, the people, 4 houses down the road, could sing with us......
