Agreed....a good performance, and i'd say the sound is a tad more than just good for an AR.

Gordon, I give a "good" if it falls in a certain range. This is good, but not yet "very good". The sound is a bit "thin" to my ears

so we're completely agreeing there ... that's exactly why i did not say "very good" ...it still lacks something though it's very clear

Recently got a CDR called "between dinner and midnight", which contains both the DS as this MS.
To my ears the MS sounds a bit better than it does here ... it has the "Hilton warmth" so to speak. That's the problem when they clean up the sound, it always get's a bit "thin", just listen to the, excellent nevertheless, AR's from the SR Records label. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? You can now listen to samples of both the dinner and midnight shows from "between dinner and midnight" here.

A really nice song list in this show. I have read that this particular season at Las Vegas was a good one for Elvis.

QUOTE (Memphis-Man @ Feb 21 2007, 12:14 AM) A really nice song list in this show. I have read that this particular season at Las Vegas was a good one for Elvis. M-M It indeed was. Above al, it was a very 'consistent' Vegas season. Only at the end Elvis loosened up and his more humorous (sp?) side surfaced. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this?
