I would rate both "Writing for the king" and "Rockin' Across Texas" to be the better quality books.
This one sure got a lot of nice picture, and I will enjoy it a lot.

Still, the print job is terrible. How they can look past so many errors is beyond me.
They better pay more attention next time (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/aggressive.gif)

Some things never change with RCA / BMG. They try to make nice things but failed to improve them. I remember when they put out That's the way it is 3CD set
with those covers. A monkey from Catangha would have done it better. Fortunally the content o those cds was amazing. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/rockon.gif)

i really was disapointed with this release, i expected some ex shots , but what we have here are more than 130 pics of substandard quality[fan shots] i expected at least media pics [ along the lines of the pics that were in tunzis highway 51 etc.. THE la examiner had their staff photographer RON GALLELLA at the show and he snapped the usual 3 roolls [all colour] and these have bin in his possession for years-he is still lookin for a buyer to pay the 10.000 asking price- there are about 17 shots of high quality, my fave on page 32, but for me they are to grainy and substandard-just my opinion though.

I like the book. Perhaps not the best, but certainly not awful. For me, the cd is worth the money. I like the performance by Elvis in this show and the sound quality is not too bad either!
