A cd version of an 80's lp, nothing essential at all, then and even now, but cute to have.
The quality could be better, but it has a nice nostalgia feeling too it.
Was released together with it's counterpart "Romantic Elvis: The sixties" on two different cd's.
The label is unknown, the tracks are all original RCA versions.
A true "bootleg", but with charm! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking0001.gif)

I remember buying this ( along with Romantic ) when it was released....both mean a lot to me as they went on to become among my most played LPs. Must track them down on CD even if they aren't official. Why doesn't Sony release these instead of the usual Greatest Hits.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

Chris
I was asking myself the very same question, theres a lot of good albums that came out that needed to be out frist, then later they can come up with new greatest hits cds.

If i work at Sony/bmg thats would be the very frist thing i would do put out albums like this Rockin Elvis the sixties and few others.....
