The Girl I Never Loved for me. A fairly weak soundtrack...but love that track to bits... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif)

Guitar Man is the standout on this LP for me.....Again a "Bonus Track", and just goes to show how out of touch the powers that be were at RCA at the time.....just scattering such fantastic tracks on soundtracks where they don't even fit in.
Thank heaven for Ernst and "For The Asking" and "Tomorrow Is A Long Time"! -------------------- "Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem" -Ronald Reagan (Jan. 20, 1981) |

Bruce Springsteen He was as big as the whole country itself, as big as the whole dream. He just embodied the essence of it and he was in mortal combat with the thing. Nothing will ever take the place of that guy. |

I have to vote for "Guitar Man", although it's totally out of place on this album. To me "Guitar Man" is an important step on Elvis' comeback trail and it's a great song (strange that it faired so poorly in the charts).
Besides the bonus songs there are acutually some great ballads on this soundtrack - like "You Don't Know Me" and "The Girl I Never Loved". Sad that they would would be blended with the likes of "Who Needs Money" and "Confidence"...
