Very good show in decent sound quality. I like this show even a tad better than the Portland April 27th show. In my opinion both Elvis and the tracklisting are better.

In June '73 I'm leaving, Bridge Over troubled Water and All Shook Up were defenately NOT routine. The June '77 shows may have been routine, but at this point in his career he cared enough on the tours to still mix up the shows and perform with interest. In fact, I regard the June '73 tour as one of his best and defenately in the top-5 as far as tracklistings and vocal / physicall involvement from Elvis goes ! I mean to say with routine that there are no surprises in the tracklists of these concerts.
of course there were songs that were not performed much like It's over - Faded love and in aug. 1973 songs like Trouble/Raised on rock - Memphis Tennessee - Make the world go away - Crying time - Amazing grace (part) - It's a matter of time etc. The repertoire was mainly the same. Of course one concert is better than the other one but that's human. And with the audience recordings you have the same from very poor till excellent in sound rating. The poor sounded concerts are highlights qua songs most of the times and the excellent sounded concerts are standards. before the Tahoe / Vegas engagements and some other moments Elvis rehearsed until aug. 1974 so it is not routine. colonel snow -------------------- |

How many tracks does the original cd actually have??
The cover says 23, on my copy i have 22 and Einar says it's 21!! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) -------------------- I'd rather go on hearing your lies....than smell your armpits son

the backcover mentions 23 tracks including opening theme = track 1 / closing vamp = track 23.
the first pressing has 23 tracks / I have no idea where a copy with 22 tracks originates from (re-pressing??) colonel snow -------------------- |

I have never heard this particular recording. However, I can tell you what a terrific show this was! I was at the show. I had seats about 20 rows back on the floor! He looked and sounded amazing that afternoon!!
