So many great songs on this LP, it's hard to choose just one. But I've voted for "Rip It Up"....A Little Richard original that Elvis turns into a powerhouse Rockabilly number, and makes it all is own....Great sparse/Rockabilly instrumentation and Elvis rolling at FULL STEAM!

Paralyzed: I love the range of voice he uses in this song and the vocal rhythm e.g. "a-hon-ey-child" and the songs just great in itself!

This is one heck of a rock 'n' roll album! One that must have made every 50's rocker envious. Unlike his first album, this one really comes together as an album and is a great collection of songs.

I voted for "Love Me". In my opinion this song was usually treated with so little respect during Elvis' 70's concerts that it became almost a joke. But that first '56 recording is a true classic... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

Long Tall Sally for me (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/up.gif) ...one that still got treated with some respect during those 70's concerts but nothing beats the original recording!

another tough one, i voted for 'anyplace is paradise'.

'paralyzed' ranks on a equal level, so do 'rip it up', 'so glad you're mine' and 'long tall sally'.

my least fav one this record is 'old shep'.

hugs, ellie

Ready Teddy just love the guitar and the way Elvis belts out "READY...SET...GO MAN GO..." gives me goosebumps.
