King Creole Acetates
I never understood the release of this crap and the popularity of the LP and later on CD; the tracks originate from a home made tape with editing songs / working with pitch control to lengthen a song etc from excisting takes and give these fake takes a wrong take number. The only thing you can do with this LP is painting and put it on the wall with a big nail. The CD you can use as an undertaker in the household. colonel snow

The LP was released in 1978 with a limited edition from 250 copies; soon followed by a second edtion with a different cover (cover of the second editon is shown). Both editions were counterfeited several times. No label but in red vinyl; at the time a nice release with "new" tracks directly taken from the movies. There are tributes by several artists and the Elvis' songs are: Old shep (T 5) You dont know me (movie) Signs of the Zodiac/VIOLET (movie) Swing down sweet chariot (movie) The lady loves me (movie) Cmon everybody (movie) Love me tender (end title) Dainty little moonbeams (movie) Fame and fortune (26-03-60) Stuck on you (26-03-60) The next step is love (movie) The truth about me - One broken heart for sale (T 1) Jambalaya (04-05-75 aft.)
