According to a topic on the FECC forum an acetate with "Just let me make believe a while" is circulating for sale.
It's a Roy Orbison song written by Robert Blackwell in the mid-sixties. The demo version was never recorded by Elvis. colonel snow -------------------- |

Everybody's got a baby but me
Elvis got a demo version and he wanted to include it in the movie Loving you. But since Paramount had already lined up the songs they would not allow him to sing the song in the movie. Elvis gave the demo to Warren Miller who recorded the song in 1958 (United artists 104) and took the composer's credits for it. colonel snow -------------------- |

The song was written by Joe Sherman & Noel Sherman. The song was selected for recording by arranger Billy Strange who arranged too the recording by Nat King Cole. Recorded 9 june 1962 – Capitol 4804. The version (Burch-Wilkin) recorded in 1962 by Jerry Lee Lewis for Sun records (Sun 374) is another song. Elvis never recorded the song in the next sessions. colonel snow
