Will pick this one up eventually, but right now it doesn't "Tickle Me" enough to buy it right away (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/laughing1.gif) (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/laughing1.gif) Looking forward to some opinions though (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

I am a lover of the 70's Elvis, so it does not Tickle Me as much to get it either. But would love to hear about it if anyone has it.

Just ordered this and am really looking forward to it.....As Chris said, this is a good CD to just put on an press play.....Great selection of songs, with a couple of personal favorites, Night Rider and Long Lonely Highway.......I've read nothing but positive, almost glowing reviews of the sound quality of this release.
Waitng for FTD to give the Roustabout soundtrack the special treatment......Would be worth it for a remastered version of Hard Knocks alone. Viva Elvis!!!!! The sound on this (and mix) is just A1...to hear 60"s tracks in this sound is fantastic, roll on un-updated 60"s box set.

I just finished listening to this album... it has been a looong time since I last listened to it, but have to say that the "Tickle Me" FTD is TOP OF THE LINE. ...It does not have one single song that I wouldn't listen to again... pure joy from start to finish. ... "Long Lonely Highway" is an absolute favourite and has been on my favourites list ever since I first heard it on the "60's Masters Boxset"... you can add to that the brilliant "Dirty, Dirty Feeling" which has a very cool kind of 'fifties feel' to it.
Overall the album has a great mix of songs and from now on it'll probably get much more spins on my player than it has in the past. |

I have been listening to this FTD for that past 30mins or so for the first time and I really enjoy it. Nightrider came on and I started laughing...such a goofy, bouncy, fun song. Are you that way Chris? Why you chose that as your username? LOL!
A side note on that song. My good friend and fellow Elvis fan was at a mall many years ago and there was a DJ giving away a car to anyone who could name an Elvis song that he did not have to play. My friend chose Nightrider and the guy pulled out the album immediately and began playing it...my friend walked away without a car. Good FTD highly recommended! -------------------- Ho, Moody Blue!
