I am a guitarist who wants to play with Elvis Tribute Artists. I have the correct gear and play both Scotty Moore's and James Burton's parts note-for-note. As a huge rockabilly fan, some of favs are: Carl Perkins (met him in '93 - he signed my Fender Tele, which I play to this day) Wanda Jackson Stray Cats & the BSO The KingBees Janice Martin Sleepy LaBeef Link Wray Robert Gordon Rev. It's thanks to my dad, an old radio DJ, that my favourite music was ever introduced to me. My first crush was The King. My first car trips had American Graffiti and the Beach Boys cassettes playing through the speakers. I dressed up as a poodle girl for the first time at the age of 5 or so (I still have the pictures!). Elvis has always been a major influence and inspiration to me. I've never been able to share my love for the Rock'n'Roll era because of my age.. nobody cares about that stuff anymore. Hence, I've always found myself surrounded by older people. Whether it be because of my taste in style and music or just the fact that I like older kids, I don't know hahaha!
