We’re gonna have a good time
The song was written by Red West & Charlie Hodge for the movie Girls girls girls.
For unknown reasons the songwriting team Giant-Baum-Kaye took over and we know the song with rewritten lyrics as “Plantation rock”.

Little darling
From the Graceland archives: Elvis sings motion picture title songs – acetate.
I’ve not found any connection with the movie. I know the live versions from 1975-1976 and the original version by The Gladiolas in 1956.
(see scan)

A time to love a time to cry
The tune is based on the song Petite fleur (written in 1959 by Sidney Bechet); Randy Starr re-arranged the song with new lyrics by Giant-Baum-Kaye for the movie Frankie and Johnny. However the demo version was rejected.
Recorded in july 1965 by Lou Johnson (London HLX-9994)
Later on recorded by other artists.

Love is not a forever thing
It’s unclear demo versions were sent in for this songtitle.
According to the script from Follow that dream the song was selected for scene 12 (see lyrics in the script). However the song was not used and finally replaced by I’m not the marrying kind

Charlie’s rhumba
Written by Dudley Brooks and Charles O’Curran. There’s no more information known. Probably an instrumental track written for the movie Roustabout?. (Charlie Rogers is the leading person in Roustabout)

Meanwhile it's known this song has nothing to do with Roustabout. (Already registered in 1958)
