The song was written by Red West & Charlie Hodge for the movie Girls girls girls. For unknown reasons the songwriting team Giant-Baum-Kaye took over and we know the song with rewritten lyrics as “Plantation rock”. colonel snow

Little darling
From the Graceland archives: Elvis sings motion picture title songs – acetate. I’ve not found any connection with the movie. I know the live versions from 1975-1976 and the original version by The Gladiolas in 1956. (see scan) colonel snow

However the demo version was rejected. Recorded in july 1965 by Lou Johnson (London HLX-9994) Later on recorded by other artists. colonel snow

Written by Dudley Brooks and Charles O’Curran. There’s no more information known. Probably an instrumental track written for the movie Roustabout?. (Charlie Rogers is the leading person in Roustabout) Meanwhile it's known this song has nothing to do with Roustabout. (Already registered in 1958) colonel snow
