Many fans are not pleased with this release.
Most complaits are about the soud and the missing spirit in Elvis' performance.

This is partly true.
The sound could be better, true, but years ago we all would have raved if something would actually sound like this!!
It's not thàt bad,it's a sounboard recording not a reel track.
Elvis' performance could have been better too,but it's not as bad as some lead to believe.
"Help me-How great thou art and Hurt are very well performed.
The bonus tracks from Spokane are fine as well.
It's a standard 1976 concert.

FTD wins points for me with this one.
This concert is not heard in any form, bootleg or cdr.
So it's new for all of us,except for those who where lucky enough to be there live.

Sadly i am still waiting to recieve my copy....but sure look forward to any new show. I have heard very mixed reviews about this one. Don't know what some fans want though. Surely better to have it released that not ?? (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

I'll be skipping this one.....Never liked soundboard recordings, and, IMO, this release has one of the most unflattering pictures of Elvis on any release, and the late 70's is miles away from my favorite.

Clearly, as the 70's Elvis is era that most fans prefer, this release will find an audience, nothing wrong with that.

This release and performance are not as bad as some would you believe. The song line up is actually good and Elvis does provide some truly remarkable performances. We could be critics about the sound I guess, but what's the point, it is a soundboard recording. I am glad that FTD released this show. They gave us a show which was previously unavailable. Is is not Elvis of 1970, but nevertheless, a good show in its own right. I would recommend it for true collectors.

you're right, I like this show. A lot of shows have an average or bad sound, so I would have all my shows with this quality.

The mixing is the only problem i have with it, especially the backup singers and Kathy..sheww on If You Love Me she butchered that one.. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/rubberface.gif)

The mix aside, this is quite an enjoyable concert with a decent tracklisting. I like it !
