Also the 25 piece CDR set "alternate masters" came from them. For the third time (after Moody blue and FEPBV) they revamp a classic album. On a factory pressed cdr...so it's in the right direction, next time a real one? It's hard to recomend that fact, but it's very well done, worth the low cost. Artwork is very good, not at Madison standards, but also made with love. The "new ELVIS NOW" edition all are alternates versions. This is how it should(or could) be at the time. Tracks that realy are "NOW" in 1971. The quality is very good as most selections are original from FTD or BMG or other imports. It's a product made with love for the subject and with a real heart for Elvis' legacy.

Bruce Springsteen He was as big as the whole country itself, as big as the whole dream. He just embodied the essence of it and he was in mortal combat with the thing. Nothing will ever take the place of that guy. |

Be fast mate, only 300 copies are made by Star, the rest are inferior to the original. It shouldn't cost more also than 10 a 15 so.....

And What About "Sylvia", "Miracle Of The Rosary" ? Album Done By Amateur ! Don't think so Alain, imo. Well, the idea is about re-creating a "new" album from 1971. "Miracle of the rosary" is a Gospel tune. "Sylvia" was recorded in 1970 during the great Nashville marathon. Both are fine songs, but just don't fit in the theme of Elvis "now",a country/folk/pop album. RCA mixed a bunch together and came to their result. In the end it became a classic as all his original albums ,but it could have been a classic back then too if they just added the right songs in the right timeframe. -------------------- |
