just go on youtube and Watch David Thibault (from Québec) doing Blue Xmas. He won the contest at our conventio a few weeks ago. He is going to be on US tv next week!

I thought he sounded very much like so many do in that he sounds like a caricature of Elvis' voice. You know it's supposed to be Elvis because of the exaggeration, but when played back to back it sounds nothing like Elvis. This might be why no one else has captured the success of Elvis - no one can sound like him.

I agree Graeme so many try and copy his voice but they can never duplicate it cos Elvis put his heart and soul and all his emotions into each song and that can never be captured by another because it belongs only to Elvis. -------------------- Maria
