A great shame we still do not have the complete performance from this show. This would make a outstanding FTD release and as it would contain unreleased material it would be of interest to those who already have the import release and would be a top seller for FTD

I agree, this, or any of the performances of that April 1972 tour, would be a great FTD release. Of course we have the April 18 performance already officially released.
I don't understand why FTD, or BMG is so resistant to releasing Elvis On Tour material(?). M-M -------------------- "Until we meet you again may God Bless You"

I wonder the songs I Got A Woman/Amen, Never Been To Spain, and You Gave Me A Mountain were not included on this title? (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

(IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif) Triangle said at the time part of the tape they had was damaged, hence the show you get. They also said they were going to put out a DVD,but that never happened - yet!. -------------------- |

There are releases that never had attention enough.
This one is almost forgotten..how a shame!! It's one of the most stunning packagings ever!! A double foulded carton sleeve, looks like an double album release!! A stunning 40 page full colour booklet with great pics and info about the concert and On Tour. A reproduction of the press map, hugh sized! A fine picture disc with a great "on tour" innersleeve around it. On tops of that,a high quality stunning sounding april 1972 show!! I had this baby froom day one of it's release and till this date, none have come closer to the "perfect" release!! A shame TRIANGLE is gone...but with releases like this, they have found a rightfull place amongst the best-if not the best-importlabels ever!! I show you a pic how my copy looks like,if you can still find one(they are rare!!)at any price,go for it,and enjoy the magic!!

Completely agree with you Johan, this is one of the most beautiful packaged imports ever released and also a brilliant concert.
have had the original, sadly had to sell it in hard financial times a while ago (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rubberface.gif) -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif) I got a woman and You gave me a mountain can be find in excellent sound quality in stereo on LP Standing room only as released in the 80's. Never been to Spain is available on the audience recording from this concert in poor sound. colonel snow -------------------- |

Great outstanding album, even in those days the album was not that known, and to this day the quality is still a mile ahead on several cd's with the On Tour soundtrack So far,to me this is the ultimate outing. .. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) I would add the YGMAM track but the message says.. " Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload this type of file" Pitty.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused.gif)
