In 1971 the song Walk away was selected for inclusion in Vegas concerts. I don't have information about the origin of the song as r&b versions / country versions with the same title are recorded by other artists.
I don't have information about Elvis' rehearsel / dates.

That is new to my eyes. Is that in Elvis' own handwriting?

It looks genuine.

It's interesting to note that "Promised Land" in on a list of songs in 1971. Gosh if Elvis actually rehearsed these with the band it would be great if that session was taped and surfaced. Would be great to hear!
Also, it would have been really nice if Elvis had included "Heart of Rome," "Tell Me Why," and "Like a Baby," in some of his concerts.

Thank you for those two pics from November 8, 1971. I was at that incredible concert in Philadelphia that night. Elvis did a tremendous karate demonstration at the conclusion of Suspicious Minds. I had seats right along side of the stage where Elvis came on, which was the other side from where The Stamps, Sweet Inspirations, and Kathy Westmoreland were seated, which gave us perfectly unobstructed viewing. My Mom purchased the tickets as I was a young teenager. What energy he had in that show, what an amazing voice!

Love the 1971 pictures. So many are new to me....., as I said previously, 1971 was the first of many concerts I attended by Elvis. So good, so much energy.

Really classy looking stage wear. Of course, in 1971 Elvis looked great in whatever he was wearing.
Thanks again for the pictures.
