As some parts of the UK gets it's first snow.
Are we going to have a White Christmas this year? Reminds me of the winter in 1963. That lasted for months. I hate the cold weather and it has started earlier. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2...15875-22738726/ -------------------- Frank

We had our first frosty covering this morning.
The paper got delivered this morning but I hope the post is not held up because of the snow. I don't bother buying on-line if the snow sets in to hold up post delivery. -------------------- Frank

This was the view from my front door last night. It doesn't look much better this morning. Our first snow arrived last Wednesday and it's still coming down.

The snow is still coming down here in the North East. Lots of school closures and warnings from the police not to make unnecessary car journeys. A little inconvenient, we got the Elvis mag out with a struggle but now we have to try and get Now Dig This out for the 1st of December. No gritters have been onto our estate, Gateshead council are selling bags of grit for £7. Wonder if we'll get a rebate on our council tax ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aggressive.gif)

We had a cover of snow this morning. A little sleet if any. The traffic still moving all right.
I just thinking about getting a snuggie blanket that you can wrap yourself up in. Anyone know which shops it's available in? -------------------- Frank

4 inches of snow last night here in Yorkshire had to dig the car out - fortunatly the council had gritted our A road so that wasn't too bad, not as bad as last year or early this year - let's hope they don't run out of salt again!!!!!

Another cold night, last night. I had to wear gloves in bed to keep my hands warm.
This morning there is no sign of frost but it's still cold. On the news it showed snow in some parts of Spain. I can't remember what other year we had snow this early in the UK. I hope it's not a long cold winter. -------------------- Frank

We had a dry cold day. No frost on cars this morning.
I got out late this morning. It was so cold last night that it took ages to get some sleep. -------------------- Frank

We had a light cover of snow last night. The gardens are white but the roads are still clear to travel.
The papers were delivered this morning. Usually they get held up in snow before the shop gets them. I am going to get some milk soon if there is stock. It feels warmer this morning. -------------------- Frank

When I went shopping this morning it started to snow.
It wasn't worth starting as it did not stay. It's not to cold now. I am stocked up with food, bread and milk. -------------------- Frank
