It's an audience recording, but one with good sound!! A bit of that typical "Vegas echo" but certainly very entertaining! Elvis is in a fine playfull mood(The Jerky Kahoon bit was not from august only!!) and delivers very strong versions of "Trying to get tou you" and "Sweet Caroline". The line up did not change that much during this season, but it was strong. People who think he was bored by now are wrong judging this cd and show. Ofcourse,Elvis needed more chalenges in his life, but his love of performing never left him. The people witnessed a very good show, and now years later we hear the same: A fine good show!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) Also a sidenote: the artwork is simple, but effective. Very nice pics of our guy and a cool disc wich looks like a roulettetabel with pictures of Elvis!! If Straight Arrow would release this, the attention would be bigger,a shame, cause this label(Showroom records)deserves more than being a sidekick!!

My pleasure Donna, nice to know you enjoy it too!!
It's a fine show!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) Also a pluspoint for me is "Killing me softly" by Voice with Sherill Nielsen singing the impressive lead. Love the strings arrangement on that one too!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) -------------------- |

Why me Lord is not on the CD as it was on the original tape after Spanish eyes.
The sound is very good for an audience recording. colonel snow -------------------- |

Thanks for the info Henk. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)
Shame "Why me lord" is not on this cd...probably it wasn't recorded by this person(tape switching, turned over?)since "Suspicious minds" misses the beginning also.. aprox 3 minutes missing then... The sound is indeed very good, one of the better ones of this season. -------------------- |

Elvis delivers a steady and a great Las Vegas engagement :-)
This show fits into it. Greetz, mrsongman -------------------- "There's some girl over there who yelled through the whole song, so honey put some tape over your mouth" # Elvis after singing Blue Christmas (Huntsville ALA Sept. 6th 1976).
