The new "How Great Thou Art" standard label remaster came today.......Sound is great! I only had the original CD release from way back when and the sound on that was pretty poor compared to what we've grown accustomed to in the past few years.

No liner notes or anything fancy as far as artwork/cover goes, it features a standard re-print of the original LP cover on the front. There are three bonus tracks included:
  • You'll Never Walk Alone
  • We Call On Him
  • Who Am I
The remastering was done by Vic Anesini at Sony Studios, NY......I must say, he's done a heck of a nice job - the cover sticker indicates that the original analog masters were used! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

As FTD's are usually a little out of my budget range, this new remastered edition will do me just fine, and the price was RIGHT, only $10.99.

Anyhow, if you're looking for the current best sounding edition of this gospel classic, you won't be disappointed with this new release!

Thanks Bazza for the info.
I have almost worn my gospel Cd's out, so it's time to get some new ones.

Walmart huh? Cool! I will go tomorrow and see if I can get my hands on some new CD's.

Price sounds great too. I will have some for the Car now, I'll have Elvis everywhere... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)
