I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry (Over You) gets my vote too....A jumpy little track with some very cool piano breaks! Elvis was clearly having fun and enjoying himself on this track.

I Got A Woman get's mine. It is rock and roll and just sounds great, much prefer this to any later live version of the song.

Has to be Blue Moon, like nothing else he ever sung. A show tune to classic blues. Brilliant

There are many great songs on Elvis' debut album, but it's quite easy to pick my favourite: "Tryin' To Get To You".
Ever since I heard it for the first time (I believe it was on the 1972 UK LP "Rock 'N' Roll") it's been among my favourites and it's still in my all-time Elvis top three. -------------------- "I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive..." |

It was down to Money Honey or Blue Moon..eventually I decided to go with Blue Moon..probably my favorite Elvis ballad..such a sad song and Elvis sings it with such emotion gives me chills when I hear it sometimes.
