_____________________________________ This show has been out several times. The biggest part of it was released before on soundboard, by Fort Baxter. There was also an AR before under the "From fans to fans" name. Now once again, an audience recording, but a complete one. The sound is very good for it's kind (as was the original AR too), so it's up to you if you want to add it to the collection. Fact: it IS a very good show, it IS complete from start to finish and in GOOD sound. Many/most of it was released on soundboard and AR, so really "new" it is not. Recommended with those reservations in mind.

I don't think that the old audience release sounded that good. To my ears it sounds inferior to "At Cazzie's House". Also the soundboard recording from Fort Baxter has a lack of atmosphere as lots of soundboards do have. I found out that this one from Touchdown has excellent soundquality for this kind of recordings. The uncutted and undubbed 'Unchained Melody' plus the audience going nuts over it, is really something to listen to. I must say that I've really enjoyed this release. The booklet is also nicely designed and the linernotes - especially the part about Ann Arbor itself - are well written.

The first time i heard this show was on the first AR, i thought (and still do) that it sounds pretty good compared to others.
But i have to agree with you, this one sounds indeed a tad better. The soundboard, well, yeah, it lacks the "in the building" atmosphere. The booklet is good, no doubt about that, the show too, and to keep the collection complete: this is the best AR from this show so far.
