RCA- Germany released in 1980 with catalogue number CL 42853 the LP Elvis Forever volume 2.

The track list is with matrix for the first pressing in the lead out groove:
LP 1 side 1 (CL 42853 A)
Don’t be cruel – I want you I need you I love you – Too much – Loving you – Treat me nice – I beg of you – Ain’t that lovin’ you baby – Wear my ring around your neck
LP 1 side 2 (CL 42853 B)
Such a night * – A mess of blues – I gotta know * – Kiss me quick * – Little sister – No more * – I feel so bad – King of the whole wide world – Easy question *
LP 2 side 1 (CL 42853 C)
Bossa nova baby – Mexico – Witchcraft – What ‘d I say * – Kissin’ cousins – Viva Las Vegas – Ask me * – It hurts me *
LP 2 side 2 (CL 42853 D1)
I’ve lost you – I just can’t help believin’ – Love letters – You don’t have to say you love me – The wonder of you – Burning love – My way

During the mastering something went wrong for LP 1 side 2 / LP 2 side 1 and one stereo channel was closed which gave a strange effect in the mix like missing backing vocals and instruments. The tracks marked with an asterix * were released in 1990 on the CD Easy come easy go (AJR 080379)

RCA discovered the mistake and released a second pressing with matrix

LP 1 side 1 (CPL 42853 A 1)
LP 1 side 2 (CPL 42853 B 2)
LP 2 side 1 (CPL 42853 C 1)
LP 2 side 2 (CPL 42853 D 3)
The letter P is scratched in the groove.

See for an explanation of the matrix (master serial) number see another topic in this section.
