What really strikes me about this record, is the sound. Its more or likely one of the best sounding imports i have heard. And thats pretty weird for beeing such an old release.
The song Its a matter of time on the other hand, is from an audience recording.
Pretty weird that they decided to put this on the record, and also use the track as an title.
Johnny B. Goode has a different guitar solo by James Burton

This is indeed a great show in good sound. I have always have had a weak spot for these vegas concerts in Jan/feb '73. Although he had to cancel several of them because of throat problemems he did manage to perform decent to good shows the whole season. Quite an acomplishment after Aloha ......
---------------------------------------
I've compare a few aug. 1972 versions with good sound buth this feb. 1973 version sounds more Chuck Berry in the solo.

The concert is wrong dated; it is the 03-02-73 D concert.
In 2007 re-released on CD Vegas Rhythm (Gravel Road Music GR CD 7303-3).
