Gave this one another spin today, its surprising how good the audio is for this show with every band member and orchestra very clear with the recording, this is obvious as during Cant Help Falling In Love a French Horn can be heard throughout the song and adds something extra to the song.Elvis is in a good mood having fun with the audience (a bunch of sex maniacs in the audience!) and the back up singers. Most of the songs are sung with care apart from the oldies and Bridge Over Troubled Water is fantastic. It is obvious Elvis has a cold or flu during this show and his voice breaks during You Dont Have To Say You Love Me.Apart from a cut during the end of the intros the show is complete and is definitely a show to try and get.

Indeed a fine and inspring show!!
The soundboard version of "Spanish eyes" is a real highlight too.
The instrumental break in it is so wild and funky!! thumbup.gif

Soundwise it's very good,it's rather rare to hear the violins so upfront in "Suspicious minds".

And of course the live version contains the lines not recorded in the studio
Blue Spanish Eyes, prettiest eyes in all of Mexico
Blue Spanish Eyes, please smile for me once more before I go
Soon I'll return, bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say "Si Si" say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me

The CD was re-released with the title "Spanish eyes by Request" in 2011 (Gravel Road Music GR CD 7403-2).
