Keep it under your hat (Mexican hat dance) (Tepper-Bennett).
According to the music schedule the Mexican group (= The Amigos) sing “KEEP IT UNDER YOUR HAT” – scene 15 – 18. As far as known the song is not included / not recorded for the movie Fun in Acapulco.

Mississippi
According to an unconfirmed story Elvis heard around april 1970 a demo from this song by John Phillips (Mamas and the Papas). Elvis was not allowed to record the song in order by Colonel Parker.
John Philips recorded the song in early 1970 for his album “John the wolfking of LA” (Dunhill DS 50077).

The money tree (Tepper-Bennett)
The story goes it was offered to Elvis in the mid-sixties but I doubt because no publishing company
(Gladys Music) is mentioned on the label. The song is not registered at ASCAP.
I’ve not found a connection with a recording session or movie in the 60’s.

Girl happy (George Stoll-Robert van Eps) – this version is registered at ASCAP.
I don’t know it’s a demo version or an instrumental version. They have written the music for the soundtrack (see Girl happy cues).

It’s a pity there’s not much known about demo versions / musical sequence of the film music in the movie.

It happens every year (Michael Robert Jarrett)
With an edited verse and re-written lyrics the song is recorded with the title “I’ll be home on Christmas day”. The song is registered at BMI (21-01-71)

edited verse
IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I’VE SEEN LITTLE JOHN, MICHELLE, CHRISTINE AND KAREN
I ALMOST FORGOT ALL THE PRESENTS THAT I BOUGHT A PURSE FOR LITTLE SISTER TO CARRY
IF I COULD SET ASIDE MY PRIDE, I JUST BE ON MY WAY
I’D BE (CATCH) THAT TRAIN TOMORROW I’LL BE HOME ON CHRISTMAS DAY

A little bit of gypsy
The song was written by Bill Giant-Bernie Baum- Florence Kaye for the movie Frankie and Johnny; the demo version is sung by Bill Giant. Selected in the pre-production for chapter musical numbers on song spot # 4 The Gypsy song but not used. The song is registered at ASCAP.

Probably more demo’s were submitted for this songspot but no more information is available.

Note:
My gypsy heart (CD Silver screen treasures 1962/65) (unused demo Dolores Fuller) probably selected for song spot # 4
