Good show...and the last one!
The recording is great although it is not a soundboard. The audience are really into it...and make this show very special! Sound is very sharp! A very good Bridge Over Troubled Water and one has to note a good version of Release Me also! Say Goodbye to the King...you can't miss this! -------------------- I'd rather go on hearing your lies....than smell your armpits son

This is a great release. Awesome to hear rare songs like Release Me, Can't Stop Loving You, and Bridge Over Troubled Water for 1977 performed. And for an audience recording it has very good sound quality.

Sound is practically the best ever for an audience recording. Like no other recording it captures the feeling of being there.
This a very good show with some unusual (for 1977) songs. Highlights are It's Now Or Never, Release Me, I Can't Stop Loving You, Bridge Over Troubled Water (just listen to the standing ovation when he begins the 2nd verse) and Hurt. This historical concert should be in every fan's collection. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? This historical concert was first released in march 1978 on 2 LP set The last farewell. this LP set was counterfeited /reissued with new covers / reprint with other names etc and finally released on CD in 1988 called The last farewell (label EP records) (taken from LP source).
Once again re-released with new names. there exists a soundboard recording of this 26 june 1977 show. colonel snow -------------------- |

Have you heard it then ? it's mentioned in Tunzi recording sessions vol. 3 and I've seen a xero copy of the tape box somewhere on the web (I don't remember which site>> it could be FECC) when it was discussed. colonel snow -------------------- |

I understand where you're coming from, but as I recall it the tape box as featured on the FECC site turned out to be a fake. Furthermore, Tunzi listing a sounboard recording of this historic show doesn't mean it exist.
Untill one actually hears it one can only asume that a soundboard once excisted, or is in private hands. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

I know that a lot paperwork is false. I remember at this moment that Fools hall of fame was recorded in the studio in 1957. they used a doctored taped legend from I beg of you/That's when your heartaches begin to convince the fans but they forgot to change the number of the workorder. it's like paintings there false Rembrandts / van Goghs etc. and there are fake Elvis items. colonel snow -------------------- |

Definately Adios is the best sounding AR available of this concert.
It is also the most complete as far as we know? Is there anything that we know is missing in it? -------------------- I'd rather go on hearing your lies....than smell your armpits son

Who knows? This being the 30th anniversary and us Elvis fans (the core Elvis fans) not getting any younger, maybe FTD will give us a wonderful treat (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)
