Hi Guys
I just received 2 cds which I picked up on Ebay. I can't seem to find much info on them. I know that THE LEGEND OF A KING is a radio show which was aired in 1989 but thats about it. I know that there was a re-issue. Is this the original or the re-issue? It looks like it has been signed on the back by the producer Don S Vogel but there have been some good re-issues in the past. 100_2356.JPG ( 873.72K ) Number of downloads: 9 This other cd I have no idea about? (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) 100_2361.JPG ( 563.37K ) Number of downloads: 7 Are these a good find??? Hopefully you will be able to help me on this one (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thanks.gif) Adrian |

The first one looks like the original to me. If so, and dependent on what you paid for it..it could be a worthy purchase....it is a collectable cd.
The other i don't recall seeing at all...... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif) -------------------- |

The second one is one of many different EPs that was made on CDs. The others that is on CD that was from EPs is Flaming Star, Tickle Me, Just For You, and I Beg of You. Those are copies of EPs from around the world.

Do remember seeing them a while back on e-bay. Bootlegs, but quite nicely done. They are on ebay right now. Here is the one Elvis Presley SPD-23 http://cgi.ebay.com/CD-elvis-presley-Elvis...1QQcmdZViewItem Here is Flaming Star RCX - 7205 http://cgi.ebay.com/CD-elvis-presley-Elvis...1QQcmdZViewItem Here is Just For You RCX - 104 http://cgi.ebay.com/CD-elvis-presley-Elvis...1QQcmdZViewItem Here is Tickle Me RCX - 7173 http://cgi.ebay.com/CD-elvis-presley-TICKL...1QQcmdZViewItem Here is I Beg For You EP - 75.445 http://cgi.ebay.com/CD-elvis-presley-I-BEG...1QQcmdZViewItem All of these are from one seller - bigstoopid CDs are real. I bought Rockin' On New Years Eve from him for about 30 dollars and it came to my house with in three days which I as kinda surprise by it. But he lives in Fort Myers, FL and I live In Byron, GA so then I wasn't so surprise by the shipping. Don't know as much as some of the other collectors, but i would say that Radio Cd set was a steal at that price (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

the radio show was first released in 1980 on a picture disc LP (Associated Broadcasters ABI); in the late 80's this CD was released with more tracks.
the EP was a promo from 1956; I have no idea when a import CD was made. I think the prices you have paid ware reasonable; the CD was priced around 70 euro when released at the time. colonel snow -------------------- |
