I would rate both "Writing for the king" and "Rockin' Across Texas" to be the better quality books.
This one sure got a lot of nice picture, and I will enjoy it a lot.
Still, the print job is terrible. How they can look past so many errors is beyond me.
They better pay more attention next time
Some things never change with RCA / BMG. They try to make nice things but failed to improve them. I remember when they put out That's the way it is 3CD set
with those covers. A monkey from Catangha would have done it better. Fortunally the content o those cds was amazing.
i would like to say for the book, we have many mistake on the photos inside
Pages 28 et 29 : we have two photos from San Bernardino - Mai 10, 1974 (Elvis with a blue pastel costume)
Pages 33 : the great photos is from Baton Rouge - June 17, 1974
Pages 34 : the photo with the Aloha costume is without doute from Mobile - June 20, 1973
Pages 41 : 1 photo from the tour of June (the microphone is not the same and elvis have a bandage on the bague on the right hand)
Pages 82 : 1 photo from the tour of June (the microphone is not the same and elvis have a bandage on the bague on the right hand)
Pages 94 et 95 : 3 photos from Baton Rouge - June17, 1974
Pages 96 / 97 / 98 / 99 / 100 / 101 : 8 photos (always from the tour of June (the microphone is not the same and elvis have a bandage on the bague on the right hand)

I like the book. Perhaps not the best, but certainly not awful. For me, the cd is worth the money. I like the performance by Elvis in this show and the sound quality is not too bad either!
