Made & designed for tour 1977 unfortunately it was never worn. It was not finished on time for Elvis to wear. ...........courtesy of "my Elvis World" (IMG:http://www.elvis-tkc.com/forums/uploads/post-230-1313925516.jpg) (IMG:http://www.elvis-tkc.com/forums/uploads/post-230-1313925540.jpg) (IMG:http://www.elvis-tkc.com/forums/uploads/post-230-1313925558.jpg) Technically Elvis did wear this suit but just the once. He tried it on at Graceland with Charlie Hodge, might have been within 24 hours of his passing. The suit was a bit tight and so it was sent back with instructions to let it out a bit here and there. This was the suit Elvis was going to wear wasn't for the tour but to be debuted at his opening show in Las Vegas in the new showroom later in 1977. I think the suit was dubbed the "Laser" suit as it reflected narrow beams of light or something like that -------------------- |
