This is volume three in the series...
It was never out by RCA, but bootlegged years later by BILKO(altough at slower running speed).
Bilko corrected this problem later on their "Gold cuts".
The original album runs on this new cd at right speed , it sounds a bit better then the acetate source we had before.
But... some mixes are strange...the organ on "Promised land" is moved way in the back..
Why, it was one of the "stand out" tracks on the original?

The bonus tracks are taken from other cd's too, import and RCA,but are mixed again in so a weird way.
Some are even(sorry for chosing the words), totally "fake".

Sorry, but it's time the label dissapoints me..
Other then the first part it's not good...an even that first part is with reservations.

It's time they come up with something that really counts, something "new".
Not a re-hash like their previous(although decent) releases.
I can see their doing "This is Elvis" in the future... another re-doing thing...

My personal view:
A good presentation doesn't save a this time doubtfull release..

Well, it's just my personal view Denny.
Others may like it better, but to me it's a let down...

Maybe i was expecting too much, previous release by this label(altough ripped RCA recordings) are very decent.
But now, sorry, it looks like "the release too much" this time... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

I'm glad you liked the cd Tom.
As stated above, it's just my personal view on this project.
Everyone has an opinion.

But i would rather have something new.
This label has not give it yet.
And if it's a re-issue, then let it be better then the original.(For a part it is).
It's the bonus section and the soundmix that gets the main complaints by me...
And with this cd ,even the nice cover can desguise that it's a let down...(collectorwise...)
