Bringing some new soundboardmaterial and rare recordings of the last two spring tours of Elvis life together. This is a very nice looking digipack in excellent sound. The Sound is not everywhere the same but it's very good. Espacially cd 1 is worth the money!! The Johnson show is an excellent class recording,a shame it's not complete. Thanks for a FANTASTIC double import!

This is absolutely a brilliant release !! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy2.gif)
Only minor thing is the speed problem during the JC concert on cd 1 (runs too fast). The '77 recordings sound better here than on Spring Tours FTD and the unreleased '77 recordings are good to have, although not spectacular. 'My Way' from Abilene is very good and interestting with those few spoken lines, but many '77 versions (also both other recordings of this song on this set: Chicago May 2nd and Toledo April 23rd) are better i.m.o.. The re-release of 'Running For President' on disc 2 is worthwhile. I've always found this too be a good concert with Elvis in excellent and very loose mood. It contains the worst ever version of 'Teddy Bear/Don't Be Cruel and one of the very best versions of 'Burning Love'. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977
