probably the worst sounding sound board of all, the sound is audible, but you can hear more instruments than others and at the end of each song the applause is huge for a Las Vegas show! there are some good versions of songs here, its refreshing to hear 'all shook up' as the opening song. different, but cool. 'true love travels on a gravel road' is beautiful for its first and last attempt, that alone makes it worth having!

Some people say this is actually an audience recording. It doesn't sound good enough to be a soundboard, even though it's meant to be.

the complete reel tape is in the RCA vaults; reel 1 from All shookup till Walk a mile in my shoes &
reel 2 from True love travels on a gravel road till the end. the notes on the tape legend from reel 2 (made by Joan Deary??) let us know that the tape is in poor quality with mike overload. when there is a cassette tape made for the source of the import you cann't expect a good soundboard. the first part of the opening show is released on import CD " Walk a mile in my shoes " in better quality. (PS some sources have another date for this release) I have not found a copy of the tape legend from reel 1 in old magazines/books. colonel snow -------------------- |
