Hi Friends:

I am very happy to say that I have each of the FTD releases to date, and I will continue to support FTD. "Tuscon '76" was the very first FTD CD I purchased. I must say that I really like this show. I saw Elvis in concert in 1971 and 1972 and a few other times. One of the shows was in June of 1976. So for those reasons and the fact that it was Elvis, I was interested in this CD. Elvis appears to be in a good mood and the audience and listeners are treated to some really good performances. Some highlights for me include the following. "And I Love You So" is a stand-out for me, but then again, he always did a great job on this song! It was good to hear a nice version of "Help Me' with some really nice harmonizing between Elvis and Sherrill Neilson. "Polk Salad Annie" in 1976 was always a treat and this version does not disappoint. Following two good versions of "Hurt," Elvis delivers a great rocking version of "Burning Love." Then comes some really awesome surprises. A nice albeit too short version of "Help Me Make It Through the Night," and then a rare performance of "Danny Boy." What an on-the-spot performance! In my humble opinion, this song alone is worth the price of the CD! This is a great CD and my "THANKS" to FTD for releasing it. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)
