Easily and without a doubt, one of the worst portrayals of Elvis that I've ever had the misfortune to watch. Jonathan Rhys Meyers was laughable as Elvis... literally. I actually laughed at some of his dancing and portrayals of Elvis mannerisms, and it's hard to get me to laugh. Best comedy in awhile. I would only watch it again if it were on T.V. for ten minutes and I needed a good laugh. So no, I would never buy this travesty.

As much as I didn't like JRM portraying him I will get this as soon as I can afford it, just for "completeness"

That doesn't surprise me. It should have been John Carpenters version on the shelves rather than this one

No, I didn't like Jonathan's portrayal of Elvis either. I did like Kurt Russel in Elvis and the movie This Is Elvis. The TV movie with Michael Gerard I felt was acceptable.
