Okay, I admit that I like this album. No, the majority of the soundtrack tunes aren't great (some will say not even good), but I enjoy them anyway. Heck, the outtakes are worth the price of admission. Elvis understood the mediocrity of the material, but made the best of it. Listening to the outtakes one could even say he was having a good time.

I admit that Hey, Hey, Hey is a guilty pleasure for me.

On a scale of 1 to 5 I give the cd 3 stars.

The only song I don't like from this soundtrack is "Confidence" ... I've always liked 'Who Need Money" since I was a child. The songs may be mediocre, but he did a decent job on them.

[b]Always liked the cover of this album for some reason. The movie and soundtrack album actually had a few quite good songs among the dribble. " You Dont Know Me" the great Ray Charles number sang impecably by Elvis. The alt movie takes are such a pleasure to hear.

A Summer movie for sure !

I too, have always liked this album. The songs, while not Grammy material, are quite good and Elvis gives them good treatment. The "bonus" songs are also very good, although they deserved better treatment than just extras on a movie album.
