Those 1971 shows in Lake Tahoe almost all had great tracklists.
This one is like them. Pretty decent sound(AR but good level) it contains many thunderdome versions and from track 19 till 24 it has a very strong and rare ending. The packaging is good too,so this show is a real winner in the EP world. -------------------- |

I just finished listening to this cd, and the show is a great one indeed.
The sound might not the best in the world, but it's definitely listenable. You can clearly hear what Elvis is singing, and talking. The show has a lot of great performances, but for me, the highlight was definitely I, John. I've always liked the studio version of the song, and it was great to hear Elvis singing it live. A nice rarity. And I don't know what colonel snow is talking about. At least my cd has Teddy Bear/Don't Be Cruel sung after Heartbreak Hotel. |

@ Einar: Hope you don't mind that put I put smaller versions up of the covers buddy
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Teddy Bear / Don't Be Cruel is indeed also mentioned on the cover I appriciate all the effort people take to make such releases, but if you mention false starts to All Shook Up / Hound Dog and he Excerpt of " If I Can Dream", then why don't also mention an excerpt of "Diana" before the Hound Dog false start and a 0:29 false start of Bridge Over Troubled Water between I'm Leaving and The Impossible Dream ? If you have to do it right, do it right ! -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? I have not put up any covers yet Stefan????????? Then someone else did, because there were a pair of HUGE covers up Never mind, it looks better with smaller sized ones .. also a lot easier for our visitors with a slower internet connection. On the above posted backcover track 14 looks like it says: Teddy Bear / Don't Be Cruel, or do you read something else there ? -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? on the track list is mentioned: track 14 - One night (incomplete) Teddy bear/Don't be cruel omits case closed colonel snow Well, I'm probably blind then as on the covers that I posted (of the cd we're talking about) on page 1 of this tread track 14 is Teddy Bear / Don't Be Cruel and track 15 is One Night. Perhaps your computer shows you another cover ?????? And besides that, another poster on this thread, who has the mentioned cd, confirmed that Teddy Bear / Don't Be Cruel IS on the cd. Case closed indeed ! This post has been edited by stefan: Aug 11 2006, 02:08 PM -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? I just saw the problem:
Einar made a mistake when TYPING the tracklisting. That is corrected now. @colonel snow: in the future, please say it's about the typed tracklisting and NOT about the one actually on the cover. What I find strange is that, several times, I made clear that I was talking about that posted backcover and not about the typed one below it. Besides that, claiming that something is not on a cd while the cover (which you should have seen) and a fellow poster proved it IS on the cd seems a bit odd to me and makes me blieve you didn't listen to the cd itself.
