Just got this one this morning and immediately put it in the player and went through most of the first disc. The sound is what you can expect from FTD... crystal clear... I don't think the album has ever sounded this good. This has also been among the albums I've waited for quite a while to get the FTD-style treatment... and as usual, FTD came through with a winner. Always liked the album and now it's even more enjoyable... am glad they also added "The Lord's Prayer" in the 'outtakes'... although it's just an informal-jam type of thing, it's still an interesting perfromance from our guy.
Highly recommended. |

This Gospel Album was of course different to the other 2 past albums as he moved to a more mainstream sound, which he got from the albums the Imperials were playing for him at that time.
