A few rare songs for this time period performed such as You've Lost That Love And Feeling, My Boy. IMO, the setlist is almost perfect, to bad the sound is not as good. |

I think this is a very good concert with a tremendous setlist ! I always liked this concert very much and although the sound isn't exactly the best (I've heard far worse though) everything is still very audible.
My favorites from this show are You've Lost That Loving Feeling (last live performance ever !) and Early Morning Rain (fast paced, great to hear as a "concert song" instead of "time killer" during the introductions.) We also get the 1st America The Beautifull ever, which has quite a different ending than what we are used too. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? in spite of some very good concerts the releases from Groti rec. / Sundial productions / Claudi rec. etc are in most cases taken from inferior tapes;

I've said that these labels uses inferior sources in most cases when they release an audience recording;
for instance Groti rec. released in 1994 the CD " Send me the light.. I need it bad" (Baltimore 29-05-77)>> with speed to fast it was possible to release it on one cd but it has to be released on 2 cd® because the total time is more then for one CD. there are a lot of examples to mention for these labels; on the other hand we must be glad that they were released because in 1994 it was the only way to have an audience recording on CD. colonel snow -------------------- |
